Riot Games needed pre-season promotional content for the 2024 LEC Winter Split, the opening tournament of the EMEA competitive season at Riot Games Arena in Berlin. The assets had to build hype and drive tune-in across social platforms ahead of a split that would go on to set an all-time high average-minute audience for the league.
NOFOMO.TV ran a large-scale simultaneous production across two locations: an offsite location shoot and a controlled studio environment. Producing both settings at once meant carefully coordinating crew, talent, scheduling, and creative direction within a single production window.
Riot came away with a broad set of social-ready campaign assets. The mix of environments gave the marketing team enough variety to sustain pre-season momentum through the lead-up to broadcast, as the Winter Split went on to reach 830,000 peak viewers and a 30.5% year-on-year lift in average-minute audience.
