VCT EMEA Kickoff 2024 (2024)

With the VCT 2024 EMEA Kickoff approaching, Riot Games needed a pre-season content push for a highly engaged competitive gaming audience. The tournament brought 11 teams to Riot Games Arena in Berlin, with two qualification spots for Masters Madrid on the line. The goal was to put faces to the teams, set the tone for the season, and give fans reasons to follow before the first match.

NOFOMO.TV spent a week embedded in the arena environment, shooting player profiles, team content, and interviews for social promotion. The longer production window gave us room to capture more depth than a standard shoot day could provide.

The final asset bank kept Riot's social channels active in the lead-up to the February 2024 tournament. It gave fans a clearer connection to the players and storylines before a launch moment whose opening viewership was already tracking 33% higher than the previous year's equivalent EMEA start.
